FM600 series have two types of MSPP system. One is 2.5Gbps MSPP system which is called FM610, and the other is 155Mbps MSPP system which is called FM620. These two types of systems are deployed together or separately due to traffic volume.
* MSPP: Multi-Service Provisioning Platform

2.5Gbps MSPP system multiplexes and demultiplexes to 2.5Gbps from TDM and EoS signals.
* TDM is abbreviation of the ‘Time Division Multiplexing’ and TDM signal means DS1/DS1E, DS3, or STM-1/4 signals.
* EoS is abbreviation of the ‘Ethernet over SDH’ and EoS signal means 10/100 Base –Tx/Fx, or GbE signals.
* SDH: Synchronous Digital Hierarchy

155Mbps MSPP system multiplexes and demultiplexes to 155Mbps from TDM and EoS signals.

    • Multi-service interfaces supporting
    - STM-1, STM-4, & STM-16
    - Gigabit EtherNet (GE) & Fast EtherNet (FE)
    - E1/T1, T3, & DS3
    • Network Configuration
    - Ring, Star or mixed Networks
    • High Reliability due to Protection Switchover
