NeoWave, Inc is a sort of the new wave as the company name implies. NeoWave means the new trend and culture as well as meaning the forerunner that leads the new era. At the time of establishing the company, many names of the IT associated companies were reviewed to learn that most of them were using the names suffixing with "Dot Com", "Dot Net", "Technology", "Tech", etc. NeoWave realized that all these names were born after careful and painstaking reviews in order to create the names that best expressed the character of their companies. NeoWave has gone through all the same endeavoring to come up with the current name, "NeoWave, Inc".
In terms of the character of the company, NeoWave is the company that designs, manufactures, and supplies the fiber optics based access network equipment/systems. This may simply look like a hardware manufacturer but the reality is that NeoWave develops lots of the softwares to be incorporated into these access network equipment/systems. Developing lots of the softwares along with the hardwares, NeoWave has decided to maintain R&D staffs at more than 50% of the total employees. NeoWave believes that the current telecommunications business requires reading the market trend correctly, assessing the future needs of the market correctly, developing the product lines ahead of the actual needs by the market, positioning the product lines to the market ahead of competitors, and thereby securing the business ahead of the competitors. NeoWave also believes that the current telecommunications business requires leading the market while generating the market by means of preparing for the market requirements in advance. NeoWave translates all these requirements as a new wave in the telecommunications industry current and future, to which a strong R&D capacity of NeoWave maintaining more than 50% of the total employees as R&D staffs will make a great contribution. As a forerunner addressing and even leading this new wave in the telecommunications business, the company name has been decided to be NeoWave, Inc.
